Climbing Guides
There are two main climbing guides to the area:
- Rockfax - El Chorro. This covers the area in and around El Chorro really well and is quite comprehensive, but is a lot more selective further afield.
- David Munilla's Andalucia Guide is quite comprehensive and covers a lot of additional great crags, but it is not as clear as the Rockfax guide. The access descritions are also often poor.
Overall if you are heading to Chorro for the first time then get the Rockfax guide; if you are heading further afield then the Andalucia guide will serve you better.
There are also various online guides that can help.
